The Last Rebel (1971)

Storyline
It's 1865 in Missouri and the Civil War has just ended. Reb soldiers Hollis (Joe Namath) and Matt (Jack Elam) flee from Union soldiers that want to imprison them. Hollis then frees a black man named Duncan (Woody Strode) from a lynching and they become a trio. Later when Holllis wins a lot of money at the pool table and Matt doesn't get any, the two soldiers become enemies. This leads to a showdown between Hollis and Duncan against Matt and the men he has brought in to get that money.

Storyline
When Kay Kay, a powerful, ruthless businessman sets out on a mission of revenge against two men accused of killing his brother, he strong-arms the local sheriff into forming a posse of thugs to aid in his vendetta. But when Jet and Owen, the two easy going friends, learn of the gang out for their blood, they prepare to stand their ground and fight back. It all comes to a head in a final gun-fight, a showdown in the small western town where blood will have to be spilled if the friends wish to come out of this alive.

Storyline
Robert Mason, an aggressive newspaperman, exposes the methods of Martin Leither, labor leader & political power. As a result, Mason's engagement with Vivian Leither is broken. At the reception at the home of Dr. Walter McWalter, Leither is murdered. Mason is accused and convicted. After several years in prison, he escapes and makes his way into the cattle lands of the southwest where he meets Tex Miller, a daughter of the prairie. He incurs the hatred of Buck Conley, who is also the mysterious 'Night Terror', leader of an outlaw gang and Mason is soon involved in a series of thrilling adventures. After overcoming his enemies, he realized that he is an escaped convict. Then something big and entirely unexpected happens, which brings happiness to the lovers.

Storyline
Directed by Richard E. Norman. Filmed on location in the all-black town of Boley, Oklahoma. The peace-loving, all-black city of Boley, Oklahoma, is invaded by "The Skull" and his "Terrors." They have sown mortal fear into the townsfolk and have the sheriff in their power. "The Law and Order League" forces the sheriff's resignation and offers $1,000 reward for the capture of the gang. Lem Nelson is persuaded to take the sheriff's job. Bob, Lem's ranch foreman, volunteers to join the gang with hopes of capturing them. Bob aids some of the hostages of the gang and is accused by the gang of being a traitor. Uncertain of his guilt, he is tried by the test of "The Crimson Skull." One drop of blood decides his fate, if shall live or die.

Sergeant Rutledge (1960)

Storyline
In 1866, new fighting units are formed within the U.S. Cavalry: the courageous 9th and 10th regiments. Plains Indians call them Buffalo Soldiers because of the bison coats they wear in winter. History, judging from the regiments' list of Medal of Honor winners, calls them heroes.

Against this backdrop, legendary director John Ford crafts the story of Sergeant Rutledge (Woody Strode), a 9th Cavalry officer on trial for rape and murder. Lt. Cantrell (Jeffrey Hunter) defends Rutledge as witnesses give testimony (relived in flashbacks) revealing the sergeant's gallantry - and the shocking truth behind the alleged crimes. Ford, who attacked racism in The Searchers, explores the similar territory in this landmark Western, the power of which still rings out with uncommon force decades later.
