Storyline
Padres owner Fred Walker (Ed McMahon) is seriously considering selling his bottom-ranked team until he hires Jackie Roberson ("JR") Cooper (Coleman) as batboy. Now the Padres are winning their way to the Worl Series and it's all because of JR. But, an interfering social worker may put an end to their winning streak and JR's job if they can't stop her.
