The Dungeon (1922) [Lost Film]

Starring:
Storyline
An Oscar Micheaux film. Myrtle Downing, a beautiful young lady, is engaged to Stephen Cameron, a young lawyer. One morning she awakens to find out that she is married to "Gyp" Lassiter, a notorious crook and Cameron's worst enemy. She later discovers that "Gyp" is a bigamist, a man with many wives, all of whom he murdered when they tried to expose him. "Gyp," having political aspirations, plots a permit residential segregation in exchange for a Congressional seat. Myrtle overhears the plot and tried to escape and warn her people, but "Gyp" catches and locks her in a room. However, she escapes and exposes her husband. "Gyp," enraged at his wife's actions, sets out to murder her. He catches her and locks her in the dungeon. Cameron leans of her danger and proceeds to rescue her.

Spitfire (1922) [Lost Film]

Reol Productions. A young colored novelist has written a novel dealing with colored folks, but is told by his by publisher that it lacks the aura of reality because he has not lived among the lowly folk about whom he attempts to write. In search of such experience, he goes to a little Maryland settlement and there meets the daughter of a farmer who, by reason of her quick temper, has been nicknamed "Spitfire." Her father is in the clutches of gang of horse thieves headed by Bradley, and it is the rounding up of the gang and the love that springs up between the young novelist and the country lass that provide the theme.

Reol Productions. He was poor. A rich man was courting his girl. He discovered the fake stock scheme of his rival. He exposes the plot and became the man of the hour. Then he turned the tables on the rich man and won back his sweetheart. See the exciting raid on the stock gambler's house. See the sensational leap from a tree to a speeding automobile. See the thrilling rescue of the banker's daughter from death. See the triumph of a small-town constable in the whirlwind climax of 'Easy Money'.

The Schemers (1922) [Lost Film]

Storyline
Reol Productions. This is the story of a struggling young chemist who is employed by a drung firm and who has made several important discoveries, among which is a formula for making gasoline. This fact is discovered by a syndicate of international swindlers, who, after finding they could not bride the young chemist to sell the formulas, attempt to steal them. However, they are thwarted in the attempt by the chemist's sweetheart, who overhears the plot.

The Crimson Skull (1922) [Lost Film]

Directed by Richard E. Norman. Filmed on location in the all-black town of Boley, Oklahoma. The peace-loving, all-black city of Boley, Oklahoma, is invaded by "The Skull" and his "Terrors." They have sown mortal fear into the townsfolk and have the sheriff in their power. "The Law and Order League" forces the sheriff's resignation and offers $1,000 reward for the capture of the gang. Lem Nelson is persuaded to take the sheriff's job. Bob, Lem's ranch foreman, volunteers to join the gang with hopes of capturing them. Bob aids some of the hostages of the gang and is accused by the gang of being a traitor. Uncertain of his guilt, he is tried by the test of "The Crimson Skull." One drop of blood decides his fate, if shall live or die.
