Five Desperate Women (1971, TV Movie)

Storyline
Five young women vacation together at a resort on an isolated island. They are the resort's only customers and, aside from the boat captain who brought them here and the resort's handyman, Wylie, the island's only inhabitants. When one of the women is found dead, the others begin to fear the captain, who's been acting strangely. Wylie and the captain argue over the identity of the murderer, each accusing the other, and a fight erupts. Alarmed, the women attempt to leave the island, but the boat -- their only means of escape -- explodes and sinks before they can board it. Then Wylie comes to their aid, claiming to have killed the boat captain in self-defense and telling the women they're safe. But are they?

STONY ISLAND tells the story of Richie Bloom (Richie Davis), the only white kid on the block, as he forms an R&B band with his best friend, Kevin (Edward Stoney Robinson). With the help of their mentor, aging sax legend Percy (Gene Daddy G Barge), they pull together a funky supergroup. Despite few resources and heavy losses this resilient group of dedicated musicians, armed only with wit, sleight of hand and outrageous Chicago bravado must come together to finally make their smash debut.

Super Dude [a.k.a. The Hang Up] (1974)

Storyline
A young prostitute overdose on drugs and narcotics Detective Ken Ramsey (William Elliott) begins to investigate her death. Ramsey's department finds out that the young prostitute is friends with Julie (Mark Bey), in which Ramsey must figure out who is distributing the drugs. However, a romantic relationship evolves between Ramsey and Julie even though he knows that she struggles with a bad drug habit. Julie directs Ken to a wicked dealer name Fred Richards (Michael Lerner), but Ken finds out that Julie's involvement with Richards was more than just narcotics.
