Storyline
Uptight is an updated remake of John Ford's 1935 film, The Informer. Dublin becomes the Cleveland ghetto and the Irish Republicans are replaced by black revolutionary fighters. Days after the assassination of Martin Luther King, Tank Williams (Julian Mayfield) is an unemployed and itinerant steelworker who turns over his militant friend, Johnny Wells (Max Julien) to the police for $1,000 reward, resulting in an underground all-points bulletin to exact vengeance on the squealer. Legendary director, Jules Dassin's unrelenting directional pace is complemented by the driving score of Booker T. Jones. The stellar cast includes Raymond St. Jacques, Ruby Dee, Roscoe Lee Browne, and Frank Silvera.

Storyline
When professional thief McClain (Jim Brown) returns to Los Angeles, he meets up with old flame Gladys (Julie Harris) and hatches a scheme to rob a sports arena during a sold-out game. McClain rounds up a driver (Jack Klugman), a safecracker (Warren Oates), a sharpshooter (Donald Sutherland) and some muscle (Ernest Borgnine), and the group successfully pulls off the heist. Trouble arises, however, when a dirty cop (Gene Hackman) steals the money, and the gang thinks McClain is responsible.

The Story of a Three-Day Pass is a 1968 film written and directed by Melvin Van Peebles based on his novel La Permission. It tells the story of Turner (Harry Baird), a Black army man who meets a White Parisian named Miriam (Nicole Berger). The pair spends a weekend together, enjoying their romance but also struggling with the complexities of racism. Eventually their miscegenation is reported to Turner's Captain (Hal Brav) and he's restricted to barracks where he realizes the futility of such amorous adventures- from Wikipedia
