Out of Sync (1995)

Starring:
Even with his personal life out of control, no one commands the rave club audience like deejay and ex-con Jason St. Julian (LL Cool J). That makes him the perfect target for ruthless cop Marcus Caldwell (Howard Hesseman) who forces Jason to become his eyes and ears at the dance club owed by drug dealing Danny Simon, the same man responsible for sending Jason to prison. While waiting for the big drug deal to go down, Jason flirts with danger every time he flirts with scintillating Monica Collins (Victoria Dillard), Danny's main squeeze. Even in a world of conscienceless hitmen, cutthroat, and sadistic drug lords, Monica is the most dangerous player of all.

Countryman (1982)

Starring:
A fisherman's solitary existence is shattered when an airplane crashes into a nearby swamp. By rescuing two young Americans from the wreckage, the fisherman, Countryman, becomes an unwitting player in a political plot devised by the power-hungry Colonel Sinclair. The couple and Countryman, branded by Sinclair as enemy agents, are forced to flee into the Jamaican wilderness to elude capture. The peaceful Rastafarian hero shows the Americans his knowledge of the land and sea, but when violence peaks, he shows that he is capable of unleashing an awesome, almost magical display of acrobatic hand-to-hand combat.
