Crooklyn (1994)

"Crooklyn" (1994) is one of Spike Lee's most outstanding productions. It embodies everything about Black filmmaking and storytelling and has a stellar soundtrack to support it. This film is a scarce coming-to-age movie dealing with a young black girl, particularly during the summer. Salute to Spike Lee for creating this all-time classic.
