Storyline
A white airline stewardess, Lillemor (Christina Schollin), falls in love with her Black American ballet teacher, Robert (Johnny Nash). However, the head instructor, Rita (Catrin Westerland), misinterpreted her relationship with Robert as something more than just friends as she becomes envious of Lillemor and Robert's bond together. With Robert's and Lillemor's romantic relationship becoming more serious, they encounter jealousy and prejudice, which makes the couple strive through various trials and tribulations.

Storyline
Based on the stage play by director Trevor Rhone, "Smile Orange" takes place at a hotel in Jamaica where three waiters must survive tourist season.
