Storyline

Four nurses working in the tropical Republic of San Rosario enter a hellish nightmare when they are kidnapped and delivered to a rebel army fighting a guerilla war against oppressive government forces. Tormented by every man that crosses their path, the four women must band together in the dense jungle in pursuit of a solitary goal: survival.

Solomon King (1974) [Kickstarter by Deaf Crocodile Films]

Solomon King (1974) is a 1970s-era Black film that has rarely been seen and was never released on home video. However, the soundtrack to the film was released (a rare find now of days), and it left some folks wondering what the movie was about.

Thanks to Deaf Crocodile Films, we will have the chance to watch this rarely seen Black independent film soon. They have a Kickstarter with great incentives to help get the funding to restore the film and release it on Blu-ray.

Storyline
Padres owner Fred Walker (Ed McMahon) is seriously considering selling his bottom-ranked team until he hires Jackie Roberson ("JR") Cooper (Coleman) as batboy. Miraculously, the Padres are transformed into a lean, mean, winning machine and the players are convinced they've found their lucky charm. Now the Padres are winning their way to the Worl Series and it's all because of JR. But, an interfering social worker may put an end to their winning streak and JR's job if they can't stop her.
