Surviving the Game (1994)

Storyline
Mason (Ice-T), who lives on the streets, wants to cease his life on the same day his two best friends die, his dog and an older man with whom he shared his food and roof. Just in time, Cole (Charles S. Dutton), from a charity organization, prevents his suicide attempt and introduces Mason to Thomas Burns (Rutger Hauer) who offers Mason a well-paid job as a servant for a hunting party in the Rocky Mountains. Mason accepts the position and flies with them to a cabin in the wilderness where they prepare everything for the four wealthy businessmen who want to hunt something special. Mason does not yet know that he is the victim of their sport until the following morning when he finds himself on the run for his life. Now, he must use his cleverness in SURVIVING THE GAME.

He was a young African-American who would become one of the greatest modern Olympian athletes when he proved Hitler's boast about the "Aryan athletic superiority" wrong by winning four gold medals, setting world records and becoming the star of the 1936 Berlin Olympics
